  Information for Stallholders

As the Pumpkin Festival continues to grow it attracts larger crowds every year. With the growth in the festival has come a need for our committee to review our layout and provide more room for stall holders and additional space for our visitors to relax and enjoy the event.

This year, we will be providing additional space for stall holders by extending the festival area all the way down Bourke Street from the “Pumpkin Square” to the road block at the foot of the Lorn Street hill. Additional car parking will also be provided at the Collector Oval and several tents will be erected in the picnic areas for the comfort of our visitors.

Another initiative will be to replace the “market tent” with individual fete stalls. We are doing this in the interest of public safety as the market tent has become overcrowded and there is a risk of a serious incident if something goes wrong.

You will be pleased to know that we have negotiated a good price on all our hire equipment that will reduce our overheads considerably and we will pass this on to the stall holders by reducing the rental from $155 to just $100 for each fete stall site.

In summary, all stall holders will be provided with an individual fete stall that has three serving tables (2.4 m long) and a rear entrance for just $100! Stall holders will not need to bring their own gazebos or shade structures as each fete stall has a roof and is closed on three sides up to table height. They will be fully erected and ready for you to set up your merchandise when you arrive on Sunday morning.
